Wav Report is an online community aimed at educating and inspiring location sound mixers, A2s, and boom ops to try new methods and gear.  Started in May of 2016 by founder Andrew Jones, it was originally a part of HoldForSound.com as a personal blog. However, by the end of the year it became clear that more writers were needed to keep up with the audiences desire for more content.  In December of 2016 that blog was turned into Wav Report and grown to include several writers who help post articles about gear reviews, business, behind the scenes, and industry news.

From time to time, we employ the use of Amazon Associates links in our posts.  The revenue is used for the upkeep and costs of the site.  We do not accept payments from manufacturer’s in exchange for reviews.
